Designer, Facilitator, and Collaborative Innovator
Sylvia Kazuko Raskin is a Client Success Manager at Omnidian. Omnidian’s mission is to protect and accelerate capital invested in residential and commercial solar by homeowners and businesses across the United States.
Previously, as the Senior Innovation Manager at The Prosperity Agenda, a nonprofit strategy firm that designs pathways to economic and racial justice rooted in the wisdom, experience, and expertise of families enduring wealth inequality. Sylvia facilitated collaborative design and evaluation projects with over 500 government officials, executive leaders, and community advocates to envision and implement regenerative economic strategies.
Over seven years at Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, Sylvia facilitated sexual health education classes with more than 30,000 young people. She designed and developed the Peer Advocate Program, a systems-wide health initiative that brings together over 100,000 teens, their families, and communities to honestly discuss sexual health, relationships, and gender norms. Raskin’s research, programs, and curricula are used by the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles Department of Public Health.
Sylvia Kazuko Raskin co-founded the nonprofit Immediate Justice to bring together young and young-at-heart storytellers to create visual narratives of survival and strength. You can watch Immediate Justice’s film cannon here.
Sylvia Kazuko Raskin has a BA in Economics from USC and an MBA in Sustainable Business from Presidio Graduate School, with an emphasis in cooperative management and systems thinking.
She currently resides in Seattle, Washington.
